Artist's Comments
She had no audience, no people to appreciate her dance, her costume or her voice. Only herself, and for the first time she allowed herself to let out her emotions. She put her longing for someone to dance with her into her movements, allowed a soft sad song to flow from her lips. These few minutes before a show were all she had to herself, and they were one of the few times she could just dance.
Did this yesterday while waiting for fireworks to start. I know absolutely shit about ballet and though I do mock the costumes sometimes, I think it is a beautiful style of art and honestly would like to learn more so Teneka here can have some more inspiring pictures. Critique, comments, whatever are always loved and appreciated. |
